There are many hundreds of ways to drive free website traffic to your sites, but few will drive more free website traffic, and targeted customers to your site than teleseminars. Before you start getting free website traffic to build your list, you need to do a very simple setup process. This includes posting the recorded version of your call to a Thank You page, and possibly including a few related bonuses on that page as well. A transcription of the call works well as some people prefer to read, and you'll need a transcription for other areas of this system as well. You can get this done very inexpensively by subbing it out through a site such as elance.com. Believe me... it's worth the small investment for this type of free website traffic. You can also use another related call recording or a quick report that ties in to what your promoting. Anything above what your visitor is already expecting, that will be of interest, is great.
Once that's done you should set up a Squeeze Page that will allow people to opt-in (provide their name and email address), to gain access to the call. This page should be very brief, highlighting the benefits of accessing the recording, what problems it will solve and enforcing that it is a free and instant download. You'll also want to make a point under your opt-in form that their contact information will be respected and not shared with anyone else. Once they opt-in and confirm their email address, they'll be taken to the Thank You page where they can download the call.
As you can see the primary goal here is to build a highly targeted and responsive list. At this point in the game, you should just be trying to provide value. your returns will come from later models. So that's the hard part, but how do we drive targeted leads and get the most free website traffic using this recording? Let's see.
One very effective method is to use Podcasts. The process here is quite simple, and dangerously effective for generating hordes of free website traffic. Everyone loves content on the go. Driving to and from work, listening to your iPod as you go to bed or just try to relax, anytime you're flying (or just don't want to talk to the person next to you)! This is just an incredibly productive learning medium that can be used where many others simply can't. You are learning at a time when it would not otherwise be possible, and everyone loves to multi-task. right?
If you're unfamiliar with Podcasting don't fear; just do a Google search. There are many very easy and free ways to get this done. What I'm more concerned with here is how to turn your content into the best format possible for results and conversion, so let's leave the technical side of things out for now and concentrate more on getting tons of free website traffic. Here's how to get it done:
Studies show that the most listened to Podcasts range from 5-10 minutes in length, so this is what we're looking for. Take the recorded call and break it into equally short "bits". If the call was 60 minutes, I would create (10) 6 minute Podcasts and turn them into a series. Here's the important part. You need to state that it is 1 in a series of 10 (or however many you choose), Podcasts that discuss the benefits of "whatever it is you're promoting". And you need to state something along these lines: "To receive the entire recording for instant and free download, simply visit http://www.yoursqueezepage.com" These two points need to be at the beginning and end of each Podcast to see maximum results.
I can tell you this is a very powerful and extremely easy way to drive free website traffic to your sites. And the best part is that these prospects are already pre-sold when they get to your site, so conversions from your squeeze page are normally much higher than you'd expect!
